How to purchase a Full Core Node - Guide

Participating in the Datagram Full Core Node Sale is a straightforward process, but timing and preparation are key. Below is a detailed breakdown of how to get started, what you need to participate, and how to ensure a smooth transaction.

Step-by-Step Guide:

Step 1: Confirm your Eligibility

Datagram’s node sale is split into three phases, each with different access levels based on your involvement in the project.

Preferred Whitelist Sale | August 10, 2025 at 1:00 PM UTC

  • Who it’s for: A select group of early supporters and ecosystem partners who went above and beyond to support Datagram.
  • Duration: 24 hours

Whitelist Pre-sale | August 11, 2025 at 1:00 PM UTC

  • Who it’s for: Participants in the Alpha Testnet who registered and connected a wallet before August 9, 2025 at 5:00 AM UTC.
  • Duration: 24 hours

Public Sale | August 12, 2025 at 1:00 PM UTC

  • Who it’s for: Open to all users. No whitelist or prior involvement required.
  • Duration: Continues while Full Core Node licenses remain available or until the Datagram team halts sales.

Step 2: Prepare your Funds

The Datagram Node Sale will take place on the Ethereum network (ERC-20). To complete a purchase, you’ll need two types of tokens:

  • USDT or USDC (ERC-20): Used to purchase nodes.
  • ETH: Used to cover Ethereum gas fees during the transaction.

To determine the exact amount of USDT or USDC you’ll need, be sure to review the Node Sale Tiers. There, you’ll find full details on pricing, purchase limits, and any additional benefits associated with different node types and tiers.

Note: If your tokens are on another chain, bridge them to Ethereum using MetaMask or a trusted bridging service before the sale.

Step 3: Visit the Official Node Sale Page

When the sale window opens, depending on your eligibility (Preferred, Whitelist, or Public), head directly to Datagram’s official Node Sale page to begin your purchase: https://nodesale.datagram.network/connect.

Once there, connect the ERC-20 compatible wallet you plan to use to purchase nodes. This must be the same wallet that holds your USDT or USDC and enough ETH to cover gas fees.

!Important Security Notice!Always double-check the URL and only connect at https://nodesale.datagram.network/connect. If connected elsewhere, disconnect and leave. Use only official links from Datagram.

Step 4: Select the Nodes you want to purchase

Once your wallet is connected, either through whitelist access or during the public sale, you’ll be directed to the main Datagram Node Sale interface.

From here, you’ll be able to choose from three node tiers, each consisting of four tranches. Every tranche has a limited supply and purchase caps based on the sale phase.

To help you select nodes efficiently, the platform offers three purchasing methods:

1. Tiers (Tier-by-Tier Selection)

Select how many nodes you’d like from each Tier. The system will automatically add nodes to your cart, starting with the lowest available tranche and moving up, until the maximum purchase limit is reached for that Tier.

2. Quick Select (Budget or Quantity Input)

Ideal for buyers with a clear goal or price cap. You can choose from two input options:

  • Budget: Enter the amount of USDT or USDC you’d like to spend. The platform will automatically fill your cart with nodes starting from the lowest available tranche, optimizing for your budget within each Tier.
  • Node Amount: Input the total number of nodes you want. The platform will fill your cart with that exact quantity, beginning from the lowest available tranche.

3. Manual Selection

Prefer to hand-pick nodes? Use the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons to manually add or remove nodes from specific tiers and tranches. This gives you full control over your cart.

Once you’re satisfied with your selection, click “Checkout” to move to the final step.

Reminder: Regardless of the method you use to fill your cart, you can always make final adjustments manually before confirming your purchase.

Step 5: Review your Cart and finalize your Purchase

Once you’ve selected your nodes, the Checkout page is your final stop before confirming your purchase. Take a moment to carefully review everything. This is where you'll lock in your participation in the Datagram Network.

Here’s what to look for before hitting Buy Now:

1. Cart Summary

Your cart will display a breakdown of:

  • The number of nodes you’ve selected from each Tier and Tranche
  • Any included benefits (e.g., Capsules, Prime Membership)
  • The total amount due

Tip: Need to make changes? Click the Total amount to open a detailed cart view and adjust quantities using the + / - buttons.

2. Payment Method

  • Only USDC or USDT on Ethereum (ERC-20) are accepted.
  • Use the dropdown menu to select your preferred stablecoin.
  • If your wallet doesn’t have enough to cover the total, click Top Up to add more funds.

3. Referral Code (Optional)

If you entered via a referral link, your code should auto-fill.If not, you can manually input a referral code and click Add to validate it.Invalid codes will trigger an error. Check the code and try again if needed.

4. Agree to Terms

Before proceeding, you must check and accept all sale terms to confirm your eligibility and agreement with the Full Core Node Sale Terms & Conditions.

5. Complete the Purchase

Once everything checks out, click Buy Now. This will prompt your connected wallet to authorize the transaction and grant access to the required funds.

If the transaction is successful, you’ll receive a confirmation directly from Datagram.

If the Transaction Fails:

Here are the most common reasons for a failed transaction:

  • Insufficient funds: You don’t have enough USDT/USDC or ETH for gas fees.
  • Sold-out quantities: Selected tranches may have sold out during checkout.
  • Wallet authorization failure: You didn’t approve wallet access to funds.

Important: If you attempt to purchase nodes that have just sold out, your transaction will still consume gas fees. These are non-refundable. You’ll need to adjust your cart and try again.

Pro Tip: To ensure the smoothest experience, have your funds bridged and wallet fully loaded before the sale goes live. Tranche availability can shift quickly, especially under high demand.
